I'm a tutor who is based out of Syracuse, New York, where I enjoy hiking, swimming, and listening to music when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in biology from Vassar College along with a concentration in math. As a tutor, I'm able to help my students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in algebra, science, and standardized test preparation, amongst other things. After graduating, I began pursuing my doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner, and enjoy instilling a similar passion for knowledge in my students. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when a student of mine finally has a breakthrough moment in a subject they've been struggling with for awhile. I know that every student learns differently, and so I make sure to vary my teaching approach to fit the needs of the student I'm working with. My lessons are tailored to each student's specific weaknesses, in order to ensure that the student will get the most possible out of our time together.
