Experience

As a Supplemental Instructor(SI) of two diffrent courses: Electromagnetics and Digital & Analog Microelectronics, I am required to hold sessions and give out lectures after class. In the session, I first go over the key points covered in class and then answer students' questions about homework and quizzes. The recent polling showed that the majority of the students in the class were satisfied about my work and that I did a great help to thir problems. I have gained experience during my SI sessions and I am quite confident that I can do my tutoring job well. I am an international student from China, but my TOEFL score was 105/120. I am sure that I can communicate with the students without obstacles. Raised by my grandparents, who are both teachers in a high school in my hometown, I have been interested in teaching since childhood. During high school, whenever my classmates had difficulty understanding lectures, they would alway ask me for help. The reason why they prefer me is that I am enthuiastic and patient, and I will try my best to teach them, instead of just telling them the results. Last week, I even gave out a lecture of Miroelectronics to the Junior students because the professor was out of the school that day. I have taken relevant courses such as Physics, Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Differential Equations. And since I was born and raised in China, my Chinese is definitely fluent.
