Kendyl K.
Private tutor in Ithaca, NY
Education
I'm currently a law student at Cornell Law School. I have a passion for education, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to share that passion with others! I have had a wide range of tutoring experience, and I pride myself on my ability to adapt to the needs of each and every individual. I have taught children and young adults ages 3-15, and I have tutored at the collegiate and graduate level, as well. I have enjoyed tutoring at all ages; I've found that I learn from my students every day. I gained my undergraduate degrees in English and Philosophy at Penn State University's Schreyer Honors College in 2014. During my undergraduate career, I volunteered as a tutor for adults earning their GEDs as well as current undergraduates in need of writing help. Since graduating, I have taken the LSAT, applied to law school, and begun my career at Cornell. I feel confident that I can be of assistance throughout the entire college and law school preparation process, from studying for entrance exams to writing personal statements! I am also available to edit essays, assist with research, and teach basic grammar. Having taken many courses in Anthropology, Psychology, and Political Science, and am available to assist with these subjects also. I hope we can do some learning together!
Experience
I received a 167 on the LSAT, 2080 on the SAT, and 29 on the ACT. I enjoy tutoring very much, and have a passion for test prep tutoring.
