Experience
As a PhD student at the University of Arizona, I taught logic and philosophy courses at the college level. I also helped students improve their skills so they could take the GRE and LSAT. As a tutor, my primary goal is to prevent my students from feeling stressed out or intimidated by those tests. With the right guidance, the tests are predictable and a student's skills and scores can improve. I like to maintain a pleasant atmosphere, but I'm always working on helping students arrive at the right answers for different kinds of questions.I have tutored for the SAT exam for some time and am right now training to tutor for the ACT and GMAT, although I am already qualified to tutor the math portions of those tests. I like the sophisticated vocabulary of the GRE, but the LSAT exam is my favorite of them all; formal logic, careful reading, and argument analysis are just my cup of tea.In my free time I like to study the Czech language, watch films, listen to music, learn about history, or surf the internet.
