I have a bachelor's degree in engineering physics at Cornell University. I'm now pursuing a doctoral degree. My tutoring experience includes helping students with language arts subjects and with the math section of the SAT. My favorite subjects to tutor are math and test preparation for the GRE and SAT. These subjects often consist of logical puzzles which allow me to help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I also help students understand why developing the skills is important, and can even be fun. In addition, I help students deal with test anxiety by providing tips and techniques for efficient testing. I'm comfortable teaching math for elementary level through multivariable calculus. When I have free time, I enjoy choral singing, getting outdoors for a hike, and reading.
